About Harrison Foundation Inc
Our Story
The Harrison Foundation Inc. was founded by the parents of Tyrell Harrison in 2024. It was established in his memory. After battling Leukemia for 22 months, Tyrell passed away and left behind many memories of love, compassion, resilience, and confidence; all traits pertinent to enduring such a hard battle. The Harrison Foundation was established to carry Tyrell's memory forward to those children and families battling childhood cancer. This foundation provides gifts requested by patients and offers navigational support for families in need of direction as their life is altered by cancer.
TeamTyrell
TeamTyrell, originally created by Tyrell's closest friends and family members, was established to support him as he began his treatment journey. It quickly spread to reach countless friends, families, and people all over the world who wanted to support Tyrell and his family's battle with Leukemia. With the generosity and caring of TeamTyrell supporters, Tyrell was able to get the things he needed in the hospital, as well as at home. Now, TeamTyrell is the main supporter of the Harrison Foundation. This unwavering support has helped the Harrison Foundation establish the TeamTyrell Spirit Award Scholarship for High School Seniors continuing on to college to pursue their dreams.

The Mission
The Harrison Foundation provides support to entities, families, and friends who are experiencing childhood cancer diseases. The Harrison Foundation has been established in memory of Tyrell Harrison, to extend his full-of-life spirit to those beyond the lives he affected during his 17 years.

The Team Tyrell Spirit Award, which provides scholarships to high-achieving student-athletes accepted into higher education, is a wonderful initiative. By recognizing and supporting individuals who share as much passion as Tyrell had for cheerleading, the foundation not only honors his memory but also contributes to the dreams and aspirations of these young athletes.
The Vision
The Harrison Foundation Vision, to collaborate with similar organizations, that understand the importance of the collective efforts needed in addressing the challenges faced by families dealing with childhood cancer and life-changing diseases. By seeking donors and sponsors, the Harrison Foundation aims to strengthen its impact and reach more individuals in need. The collaborative approach also allows for a more comprehensive and coordinated effort to provide support, resources, and hope to those facing difficult circumstances.
Tyrell Harrison's legacy, love, and light live on through this foundation and the lives that are impacted by the reach and team spirit that shines through the Harrison Foundation and others who support those living with these life-altering diseases.
